Greedo Shot First?

Just found this card with my signature from back when I did this Greedo trading card for Topps, so I hope no one minds my posting it again, this scan shows a little more detail, so I figured "what the heck"...here ya go.... and for the Illustration Friday folks I guess this is a sacrifice or sorts? Probably not, but someone is getting slaughtered anyway.....

Star Wars Sketch Cards

Here's a sample of the sketch cards I did for Topps Star Wars Heritage series. The series included actual sketches from quite a few other artist and were inserted randomly in a pack so that you had the possibility of owning an actual piece of art. If I remember right I did over 500 sketches, some artist did over a thousand (believe me 500 was enough for me) Fun project....

Godzilla - Japanese Monster

Here comes TROUBLE! My favorite Japanese monster is GODZILLA! Here's a painting I did for my own amusement, based on the 1964 version. My niece owns this one and that reminds me, I have to get on it and paint some more monsters as she keeps telling me...

Shark Fink!

Kids call your Mama 'cause if you see one of these your gonna need help! I did this one out of my love for the art of Basil Wolverton and Big Daddy Roth's Rat Fink.
It's a nice shark if you like this kind of thing. I will do a t-shirt design of this soon...
Update: I did a shirt design and here's the link

Favorite

Talk about a sprout out of control, good thing Hercules is around...
This is an old favorite of mine, a collaboration with artist Earl Norem. He's probably best known for his work on Conan. I did a search on Google but could not find if he has a site up. I did find lot's of scans from his "He-man" and "Transformers" days along with some of his "GI-Joe work. The best thing about this piece is I got to keep the original. Earl did Hercules and I did the background and all the cool skulls along with the monster I can't remember the name of.... oh well.

Like I Said....

..... no particular order. Here's a vector piece done for an automotive accessories company, they do the floormats, seat covers, steering wheel covers etc.. The company changed hands (from Pennzoil to Shell) and this line got dropped, otherwise you probably would have seen this all over the place.
This was a fun piece regardless.
